Our Curriculum Overview

A Commitment to Excellence

The Champion School aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
Whether it is our books or hands-on training, we make sure each student gets personal attention to cope up and flourish in every subject for better scores and a brighter future.

Challenges and Changes

Our school began with humble mud-walled, thatched-roof structures, reflecting the economic hardships of the village. Over 15 years, as villagers improved their living standards, we transitioned to permanent buildings for better safety and sustainability.
To promote education, we introduced free mid-day meals, textbooks, and stationery. As awareness and financial stability grew, most families began contributing a minimal fee, reducing the need for full support.
Today, we continue to provide free education and learning materials to students in genuine need. Additionally, we offer evening snacks to children attending satsangs, nurturing both mind and spirit.

Merit Scholarships

To inspire academic excellence, our school offers merit scholarships to top-performing students across all classes. We also extend financial support to deserving students pursuing higher education:
Undergraduate Courses: ₹2,000
Graduate Courses: ₹5,000
Postgraduate & Professional Courses: ₹10,000
This initiative ensures that talented students continue their educational journey without financial barriers.

Key Milestones

Our journey began in July 1983 as an English medium residential school with just 15 children, along with regular satsangs. On 12th November 1983, Sri Gurudev visited the two-acre site generously donated for the school.
On 23rd March 1986, Chinmaya Harihara Vidyalaya was officially established with 26 children in two thatched classrooms. A small hut served mid-day meals, and a Hanumanji temple was built. English medium classes continued in four huts within the ashram.
Sri Gurudev revisited and blessed the school on 23rd March 1988. In February 1989, the first group of orphanage children received Upanayana Deeksha, a unique tradition here. By October 1989, students actively participated in Rama Sila Pujas in nearby villages, guided by Pujya Swamini Seelanandaji.

Expansion and Recognition

In 1991, a student brought pride by winning first prize in a state-level Gita chanting competition. By June 1992, the residential school merged with Chinmaya Harihara Vidyalaya, introducing Class 8.
A new Hanumanji temple was built and consecrated on 3rd February 1993. Later that year, on 28th December, the school received official recognition from the Andhra Pradesh Government for Telugu medium classes 1 to 7.
The school was blessed by the Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide on 13th October 1995. In 1999, value education classes were introduced, reinforcing moral and spiritual growth.

Continued Growth and Development

On 17th April 2001, Guruji visited the school, and students showcased cultural performances. In June 2001, teachers received training under the Chinmaya Vision Program (CVP).
By 2002, a staff room, science lab, and additional classrooms were built. From 2003 onwards, the school introduced English medium with LKG and UKG, added a new school bus, and celebrated another state-level Gita chanting victory. The student strength grew to 200.
On 6th February 2004, Guruji performed the Bhumi Puja for a new 12-classroom block, marking a new phase of growth.
